WRITE294 Introduction to Writing Poetry Course Page

Description: Lectures and workshops in which the student will be required to write poetry. Prerequisites: *6 of junior English (or equivalent), and consent of Instructor(s) based on a portfolio (see Instructor for deadline).

Description: In the third year of the Combined Honors in Creative Writing program, the Honors student, in consultation with the Department, will arrange for a writing project under the guidance of a member of the Department for the ensuing summer and winter. The project is to be an original creative project judged by the Department to be the equivalent of a half-year creative writing course for *3 or a full-year creative writing course for *6.
