ZOOL450 - Biology and Evolution of Invertebrates

Invertebrate evolution and adaptations including topics on feeding and nutrition, motility, reproduction and development, and sensory systems. Emphasis will be on material from the primary literature. Laboratory exercises will involve advanced training in techniques of microscopy. Prerequisite: ZOOL 250. ZOOL 303 and ZOOL 351 recommended. Credit cannot be obtained for both ZOOL 450 and 550.
